My name is Arastoo, and I believe that the theater stage, especially the unscripted one, is a place to discover not only storytelling and creativity, but to better understand who I am, and who you are.I started Stage Lens Theater to explore the art of improvisation; where presence, vulnerability, and instinct take the lead. With years of experience as a performer and teacher, my approach blends acting, storytelling, connection, and deep listening to unlock what lies beneath the surface.To me, improvisation isn’t only comedy or games. It can be as layered, emotional, and meaningful as any written play. It’s a way to discover yourself, not through rehearsed lines, but through the raw beauty of the moment.At Stage Lens Theater, I offer a space for anyone; actors, artists, or the simply curious, to play, connect, and create stories that breathe with life, excitement, and inspiration.

Join us in October as we shall focus on genres with an emphasis on spooky fun!We will dive into different genres and play with storytelling concepts within each one.Why are genres fun and useful? How can we understand genres better? What are ways that we can combine genres? All these concepts and more will be explored!This class is suitable for intermediate and advanced improvisers.Location : The Finnish Hall - 1970 Chestnut St. Berkeley, CA 94702When : October 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th.
